It was part of a business plan requirement in determining whether there is a need for cybersecurity programs in Philippine organizations.

In the survey conducted on April 28-May 11, 2022, we wanted to know if they know the cybersecurity problems in their organizations and if the management is doing something to address these issues.

Socks5Systemz Has Been Infecting Computers Globally

A proxy botnet known as ‘Socks5Systemz’ has been infecting computers globally using the ‘PrivateLoader’ and ‘Amadey’ malware loaders, with 10,000 affected devices now.

Infected systems become traffic-forwarding proxies for malicious, illegal, or anonymous communications. It charges subscribers between $1 and $140 per day in cryptocurrency to access this service.
