According to Jeffrey Ian Dy, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Undersecretary for cybersecurity, connectivity, and upskilling, the glitches on the PhilHealth website over the weekend were caused by bugs or coding errors, not cyber hackers.
He confirmed that the bug has been fixed, assuring that the PhilHealth website has returned to normal operation.
